Lubricants and anti-corrosion
Anti-corrosion describes measures that are used to combat the occurrence and progression of corrosion, while lubrication is the control of friction and wear by the introduction of a friction-reducing film between moving surfaces in contact. This Film can be in liquid form (Oil) or semi-hard compound grease, etc. The importance of parts lubrication includes but not limited to; friction reduction and prevention, cooling, load balancing, cleaning, sealing, rust prevention, etc. Lubrication process can be done manually or using dispensers and applicators.
This category is classified into; Lubricants, Preservatives, Lubricators, Accessories, and More. Some of the products under this class include: Grease, Oil, Silicone Compounds, Anti-Rust, Greased tapes, Inhibitors, Pumps, Oilers, Funnels, Grease Nipples and Adapters, etc.
